 Jackie is a graduate of the National University of Ireland, Galway where she was awarded a B.A. (Hons) in History, Sociology & Politics and of the Michael Smurfit Graduate School of Business, University College Dublin, from which she holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Studies and an M.B.S. in Human Resource Management.  She is also a Chartered Member of the Institute of Personnel & Development (M.C.I.P.D.) and an Associate Member of the Institute of Management Consultants & Advisers (IMCA).  In addition, to enhance and update her skills, Jackie has recently undertaken a Certificate in Training & Development with IBEC / D.I.T.

Having worked in the small business sector for a number of years, Jackie joined the Civil Service in 1996, initially with the Department of Enterprise, Trade & Employment before taking an assignment as an Advisory Officer with the Labour Relations Commission, where she worked with a range of public and private sector organisations providing advice and assistance on a variety of Employee Relations and HR issues.

In 2002 Jackie was appointed to the role of HR Manager with Ordnance Survey Ireland, which was on the brink of significant change.  During the period to 2007, Jackie was involved in negotiating and implementing a comprehensive change programme including restructuring, new pay and grade structures, the development of a competency framework and introduction of new recruitment & selection procedures and the development and roll-out of training. She has gained extensive experience in individual and collective dispute resolution, policy development and recruitment and selection.  Jackie is also an tarined and experienced interviewer having interviewed for positions at all levels, including extensive experience within the public sector.

Jackie now runs her business, Consulting Excellence, delivering a range of services to both organisations and individuals to help them reach their full potential.  She is also a Business Mentor with Dublin City Enterprise Board, serves on the Board staffing sub-committee for the National Parents Council - Primary, is a serving member on the Independent Consultants & Advisors Group committee and is a member of a number of other Business networks and Associations.
